God’s Word has a lot to say about decision making. As we peruse the Gospels and examine how Jesus weighed options and made choices, we see 3 big questions every Christian should ask before making a decision. First, “Is it written?” What does the Bible have to say about my situation? Second, “Is it love?” What is the most loving response of the several options before me? Third, “Is it God’s will?” Am I making this decision with God’s will or my will in mind?
The Lord is My Shepherd
What does it mean for the Lord to be our Shepherd? According to David in Psalm 23, it means that we shall never be in want of anything. We will be made to slow down, quiet down, and sit down. Our souls will be restored and whole, like they were designed to be from the beginning. We shall not fear evil or death – no matter what we’re facing. Many of us know the Psalm… Let’s make sure we know the Shepherd.
