Seven Churches: Ephesus

Some people like to point out how much churches have changed over the centuries. The truth is “the more church changes, the more it stays the same.” Jesus’ letters to seven different churches show that even 2000 years ago churches dealt with unruly people, theological heresy, apathy, persecution, and losing sight of what’s most important. In the sermon series “Seven Churches Just Like Ours,” we will examine Revelation 2 & 3, looking closely at how Jesus commended and rebuked church leadership and practice. If these ancient churches were a lot like ours today, what can we learn and how can we change?
