Micah 6:8 | Act Justly

In Micah 6, we read a form of biblical literature known as a Divine Covenant Lawsuit. God is the plaintiff, His people are the defendants, and the mountains and foundations of the earth are the jury. What does God really want from His followers? In the well-known verse, Micah 6:8, God restates exactly what is required of us: to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with God. On Sunday we looked at the definition of justice and what it means to act justly in our community, city, and beyond.
