Hallowed Be Thy Name: Jehovah Nissi

This week we explored the name Jehovah Nissi: The LORD our Banner. There are many interesting elements within the Old Testament account of the Battle at Rephidim when the Israelites fought the Amalekites (Exodus 17), but at the end of the battle, Moses dedicated an altar to The LORD our Banner. Today, Jesus serves as our banner, flag, and standard. When we look to him, we are healed. When we look to him, we receive eternal life.
