Cornerstone Mission Part 6: Ministry

Ministry is the faithful service of God’s people to bring glory to God, to build up the church, and to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This Sunday we looked at ministry from different perspectives, each an area of service suited to the gifting and opportunities God has afforded all followers of Jesus. As one theologian said, “Ministry is like a birthday party, but instead of everybody bringing a gift for one person, everyone brings a gift for all to share.” Today we hear about and are encouraged to be involved in ministry through simple tasks, financial giving, and preaching the gospel.

Our souls will be restored and whole, like they were designed to be from the beginning. We shall not fear evil or death – no matter what we’re facing.
