When things get tough, we tend to hunker down and take care of ourselves. 2020 provided many opportunities for us to look out for #1. This year we want to get the focus off of ourselves and on to those around us. Our family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and even strangers need the light and love of Jesus. In this first message of 2021, we will be setting the tone for the year by talking about influencing others for Christ.
The Lord is My Shepherd
What does it mean for the Lord to be our Shepherd? According to David in Psalm 23, it means that we shall never be in want of anything. We will be made to slow down, quiet down, and sit down. Our souls will be restored and whole, like they were designed to be from the beginning. We shall not fear evil or death – no matter what we’re facing. Many of us know the Psalm… Let’s make sure we know the Shepherd.
