Equipping and Mobilizing

Equipping and mobilizing people into ministry is integral in the role of Cornerstone, as your local church. Therefore, we have ministries that focus both inside and outside the walls of our building, all seeking to know Christ and make Christ known.
At Cornerstone you are sure to find a ministry opportunity that fits your talents, gifts and experience.

Children’s Ministry

Children’s Ministry Director

Dawn Chapman

The time between birth and 6th grade is a critical time for children to hear and understand the foundations of the Christian faith. We partner alongside you to help your child discover and embrace a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Every Sunday our Children’s Ministry provides an engaging, age-appropriate, Bible-based teaching program and related activities for your children. The Children’s Ministry wing located off of our main lobby includes classes and programs at 8:00am, 9:15am and 10:30am. Please contact our Children’s Ministry Director, Dawn Chapman, for more information.

Middle School Students

Age appropriate programs are specifically designed for our middle school students to address life as they know it and aid them in how best to understand the role Jesus currently plays or can play in their world. Sunday School is offered at 9:15 AM

High School Students

Our high school students meet each Sunday at Cornerstone to connect with Jesus, address relevant issues and have fellowship with other students their age. Our Youth Ministry Sunday School is offered in between the main worship services at 9:15 AM

Activities

Retreats, service projects, mission trips and participation in other Cornerstone activities highlight our Youth Ministry’s commitment to helping these young people experience fellowship, evangelism and ministry as they learn to “own” their faith for themselves. What a privilege to play a leadership role and become a key part of the process of helping our kids become more like Jesus! Please contact our Youth Pastor, Scott Godinez, for more information.

Men’s Ministry

Leader of Men’s Ministry

Ron Freed
Designed to Make an Incredible Difference in Our Communities

At Cornerstone we believe God calls men, women and children to follow the example of Jesus Christ in loving God and loving others. God has called humble, gentle and strong men to lead the way! There has never been a time when our world has needed men who serve Jesus more than now. We will make an incredible difference in our communities when willing to be as bold and intentional about following Jesus as we are in so many other areas of life.

For our men at Cornerstone, we provide weekly Bible studies, Sunday School, service opportunities, fishing trips, monthly breakfasts, retreats and so much more. Our Men’s Ministry trains the men of Cornerstone to become more like Christ every day. Please contact our leader of the Men’s Ministry, Ron Freed, for more information.

Women’s Ministry

Leader of Women’s Ministry

Lisa Mecham
Designed to Reflect His Love to Others

Our Women’s Ministry at Cornerstone encourages and equips women to walk with Christ through Bible study, Sunday School, prayer, fellowship and many other inspiring events and activities. We work to be women who listen to and radically obey God so that we may be transformed into His likeness and reflect His love to others. Our Women’s Ministry team engages and involves women of all ages and life situations, making sincere connections and lifelong friendships. Please contact Lisa Meacham for more information.

“Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” Proverbs 31:29

Music Ministry

Music and Worship Director

Don Emmons
Join Us

Our unique combination of traditional and contemporary worship, along with our praise team, choir, orchestra and band, is an excellent example of Cornerstone’s blended worship on Sunday mornings. Some Sundays our choir has prepared special music. Other Sundays a smaller team of vocalists lead us through several songs. We love that our volunteer team is so eclectic, joyful and talented. We have opportunities for people to plug into our audio/video team as well.

As worshipers, we are called to lead God’s people to His throne. We are looking for participants who display a love for God and His people, who are upright in their walk with Him, and who love to worship Him from the pew as well as the platform! For more questions about our music and worship teams as well as how you can get involved, please contact Don Emmons.

Our House of Prayer

At Cornerstone we are committed to remaining a “house of prayer.” God has invited us into a vital relationship with Him and desires to know what is on our hearts and minds. Prayer is just talking with God! We have the privilege of lifting up praises and thanks to God for who He is and all He has done, humble confession, honest intercession, and personal petition.

Pray with us at our weekly prayer meeting on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm… or in our prayer room during our services on Sunday morning. As we become burdened for other people, our community, our country and so many other things, we strongly believe in the power of prayer and humbly make our requests to our Father, who loves to give good gifts to His children.

We Are Here to Pray for You

Whatever may be on your heart, no matter how big or small the issue, we will stand by you in prayer.
